A key focus of Phase 2 is social impact. We’re partnering with the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity to support the mental health and wellbeing of construction workers.
The construction industry faces a mental health crisis, with suicide rates significantly higher than the national average. Every single working day, two UK construction workers take their own lives.
To help address this, developers will be required to contribute at least £1,000 to support Lighthouse, a charity providing vital mental health services for construction workers and their families. This includes counselling, drop-ins, a crisis helpline, and support for families.
Developers will also display clear signage across development sites to raise awareness of these services, ensuring workers can easily access the help they need.
