Octopus Real Estate has strengthened its care home fund management team with the appointment of Michael Toft as Senior Fund Manager.
Michael will be taking a senior role in the care home team and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team. Michael has over 20 years of real estate experience and joins from Lothbury Investment Management, where he spent over a decade as an Executive Director and Senior Fund Manager, managing institutional real estate funds, implementing a growth strategy and expanding the flagship fund by more than threefold.
Octopus Real Estate’s market-leading care homes team currently manages a portfolio of 77 modern, purpose-built homes, including 13 properties under construction, with a market value of more than £900 million.
Michael is a member of The Association of Real Estate Funds’ (AREF) ESG and Impact Investing Committee, bringing valuable experience to Octopus’ care home team as they continue to consider their investments through an impact lens.
