We have recently been granted planning permission for a 75-bed care home in Melbourn (10 miles south west of Cambridge). We are excited to work on this development with Peterhouse College and Hopkins Homes, to help meet the ever-increasing needs of the elderly generation. Alongside the provision of quality care for the community, this new care home will provide a safe and nurturing environment for residents local to their families and friends.
Our team of experts are already meticulously planning every small detail to ensure that the building, landscaping and interiors will work efficiently for staff, be a pleasure for residents to live in and a welcoming place for their family and friends to visit.
We believe that better buildings can make a positive contribution to people’s health and wellbeing, so good design is intrinsic to our projects. Colour schemes, signs, lighting, landscaping, bright welcoming communal areas, safety and security are just a few of the everyday things that, when done well, make all the difference to the healthcare professionals, residents and their families.
We put residents at the heart of everything we do and pride ourselves on being different, and this care home in Melbourn will not only help to create a positive environment for the elderly but will show care in a new light.
Our new care home in Melbourn is an exciting new venture as it will make a significant contribution to the provision of elderly care in this part of Cambridge and the need for compassionate, comprehensive, specialist care.
